Chocolate Rum Protein Balls

Servings 20 balls

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cup nuts (I used a mix of raw almonds and hazelnuts)
  • 1 cup oats
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp honey (or 3 if you want them sweeter)
  • 1/2 cup oat milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • 4 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1/2 tsp rum extract
  • extra coconut flakes and cacao powder for rolling the balls

Instructions

  • Put the nuts and oats in a blender or food processor to make them like flour. Then in a deep bowl mix them together with all the other ingredients and form balls. Roll them as you desire. I rolled one half in coconut flakes and the other half in cocoa.
