Healing Golden Milk Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond milk, or coconut milk (I mixed them both)
  • 1 tsp turmeric (ground or freshly grated)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (or any sweetener of choice)
  • pinch of black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ginger (ground or freshly grated)
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice (optional)

Instructions

  • Whisk together all ingredients in a bowl, or use a blender to blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a saucepan and heat for 3-5 minutes on medium heat. Make sure it's not boiling.
  • Pour into a mug and enjoy warm.
