Boil the lentils, let it cool for 10 minutes and add it to a deeper bowl and mash well with a fork or spoon. Grate the carrot, onion and zucchini and add them to the lentils. Finely chop the garlic and add it to the mixture together with the salt and spices. Mix well and if the mixture is liquid add bread crumbs or almond meal to thicken.
