4-Ingredient Easy Raffaello Balls With a Twist

I really love Raffaello balls , so I recently decided to make a homemade version of this famous dessert. But as the strawberry season is underway which I adore in every possible form, I made a little twist. And it is a healthy one.

Trust me, these Raffaello balls came out better than the original! Needless to say, all of my family, including me, shamelessly enjoyed these delicious coconut balls. Looks like we’ll do them again tomorrow. And I strongly suggest you do the same! 🙂

4-Ingredient Easy Raffaello Balls With a Twist

Ingredients:

  • 200 g of cottage cheese
  • 200 g of coconut flakes
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein
  • stevia (optional)
  • strawberries  (sliced into halves)

Preparation:

  1. Stir one scoop of vanilla whey protein into the cottage cheese.
  2. Then add the coconut flakes stirring constantly. The goal is to get a solid and compact mixture that is easy to shape with your hands.
  3. Using a spoon, separate the piece of mixture that you will shape into a ball, and insert half of the strawberry in the middle.
  4. Form Raffaello-sized balls with your palms.
  5. Then roll the balls in coconut flakes, then store them in the refrigerator for about an hour to harden.
