How to Make a Healthy and Affordable Smoothie (Less than $3)
Preparing a healthy, interesting smoothies without having to spend tons of money on ingredients is easier than you think. While superfoods and supplements can be helpful when it comes to treating specific health issues, just a few simple sugar-free ingredients are enough to make a satisfying affordable smoothie.

Here are some advice I learned through years and years of experimenting with affordable budget-friendly but healthy ingredients:
- Always have seeds and nuts in your kitchen. When going to the supermarket, use the section for add-ins like chia seeds, and nuts.
- Use plant-based protein in your smoothies, like peanut butter that you can prepare at home.
- Forget about buying expensive super-food powders, instead, use berries, nuts or yogurt! These ingredients are full of nutrients and you can find them in almost any store!
- Add spinach in every smoothie! I promise you won’t taste it, and you’ll have your daily dose of veggies and all health benefits that come with it!
Now, If I managed to convince you to save some money and still eat healthy, let’s take a look at my favorite affordable smoothie!
