Delicious Spirulina Smoothie to Fuel Your Body with Energy
This spirulina smoothie is one of my favorite go-to smoothies ever! It always manages to wake me up, energize my body and keep me full until lunch or dinner.
This spirulina smoothie is full of fiber and plant-based protein that makes it amazing as a pre-workout smoothie, or a nice breakfast option if you are on a plant-based diet.

Did you know that spirulina is one of the most nutritious foods on planet? It is also a great source of protein, one tablespoon of spirulina contains 4 grams of protein!
Spirulina has plenty of health benefits, some of which are:
- it may lower triglycerides levels and bad (LDL) cholesterol levels.
- it may help lower blood pressure.
- in people with Diabetes type 2, it may reduce blood sugar levels
- it provides energy and endurance
Delicious Spirulina Smoothie
Servings 1
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cucumber (peeled)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup frozen berries
- 1 tbsp spirulina powder
- 1 Medjool date, pitted
- 1 handful baby spinach
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately!
