If you are looking for a summer cocktail that will not disturb your diet, I have a solution.

This recipe is a great option for a party with kids or teenagers who are under-age to drink πŸ™‚ My family loved it.

We made a great patio gathering and the guests loved this non-alcoholic option, even those who are drinking alcohol were pouring from this refreshing non-alcoholic mojito!

This is a slightly modified version of this traditional Cuban cocktail, but it tastes perfect!

Non-Alcoholic Mojito

Ingredients

  • a couple of mint leaves
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • ice cubes
  • 1 lime (juice one half of the lime, and cut the other half in moon-shaped pieces)
  • 250 ml water

Instructions

  • Mix the mint, sugar and lime juice and let it sit for 5 minutes for the mint to work its wonders with the smell. Then add ice, lime pieces and mineral water. Decorate the glass with mint leaves and a piece of lime. Enjoy !
