Healthy Refreshing Salad with a Tofu Twist

If salads are your dominant meal in the summer, then you’ve probably run out of ideas. Especially if you try to make them always different. Well, if you’re still on salads or you just like it a lot and you’re prone to experimenting, I have one suggestion.

To break up the salad monotony, I used baked tofu with olives that didn’t need to be cooked. I sliced it and just tossed it in the salad. I can tell you that the salad was excellent. Of course, all together it is subject to a series of changes and additions, you will know best what suits you.

So, here’s an idea you can experiment with and get creative according to your taste!

Healthy Refreshing Salad with a Tofu Twist

Ingredients

  • baked tofu with olives
  • 6-8 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber
  • green salad mix, or make it your own
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • spices, according to taste
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Slice the vegetables the way you cut them for a salad. Put them in a bowl. Mix everything well. Season to taste.
    Cut the baked tofu with olives into cubes, put it in a salad, sprinkle with sesame seeds and stir once more.
    You just got one refreshing summer salad with a little twist. Enjoy!
