If you are a healthy eater, the first thing you probably have in mind about snickers is: too sweet, unhealthy, sugar, sugar, sugar!

But let me change that! This recipe will present you the healthiest snickers shake version that will blow your mind! It reminds so much of the traditional snickers bar, it’s super creamy and delicious.

Not to mention it is super nutritious and your kids will love it too!

Low Carb Snickers Shake

Servings 1

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp melted dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup milk (I used almond milk)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt flakes

Toppings:

  • 1 tsp crushed peanuts
  • 1 tsp chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
  • In a glass, drizzle the chocolate around the sides using a spoon while rolling the glass in a circle movement.
  • Add the smoothie into the glass, add optional toppings and serve immediately.
