Did you know that tart cherries are shown to reduce inflammation and fat from the body? More importantly, tart cherries are supposed to lower blood fat and cholesterol!

Once this information got to me, I immediately went and bought loads of tart cherries and started incorporating them into my everyday meal planning! Let me tell you, they make each dish better! Not only that, put them in smoothies and shakes and you’ve got yourself a refreshing and super healthy filling drink!

I don’t know why I didn’t use tart cherries more often until now! That’s about to change for you too once you try this very cherry protein shake! This super low-fat shake (actually 0% fat) will become your morning staple drink. Take it to go for work, or drink it in the morning to boost your energy, or have it before your workout in the afternoon.

Adding tart cherries to a well-balanced eating plan will for sure improve your health and boost those weight loss results, just like it did for me!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen pitted cherries
  • 1 cup tart cherry juice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth! Drink immediately.
