The salad dressing enriches the salad and makes it a real meal that satisfies all the senses.

In the markets today you can buy many ready-made dressings that are full of preservatives, dyes, emulsifiers, a lot of fat and a lot of calories.

Given the fact that all these supplements are dangerous for our health, it is much better and easier to prepare it yourself. I have prepared my 3 ultimate favorite ideas for preparing healthy salad dressings.

You can prepare these dressings at any time and store them in the refrigerator for about 5 days.

Your salad will become much more interesting and flavorful, so I strongly suggest you to give these salad dressings a try!

Mustard and turmeric dressing

Mustard and turmeric dressing:

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients well and use the dressing immediately or store it in a glass jar.
    This dressing goes well with Caesar salad, but also with lettuce and arugula lettuce.

Curry Dressing

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp low-fat sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp curry powder
  • 1-2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • pinch of pepper

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Serve immediately or store in a glass jar.
    This curry sauce goes well with lettuce and chicken.

Guacamole Avocado Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1/2 avocado
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1-2 garlic cloves minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • chilli flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Mash the avocado well with a fork or put it in a blender, then add the other ingredients and mix with a spoon until you get a homogeneous mixture.
    Use this dressing for any fresh and healthy salad.
