This healthy cheese and garlic mayonnaise spread is intended for lovers of the aromatic taste of garlic.

Quick & Healthy Cheese and Garlic Mayonnaise Spread

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups goat cheese (or some other low-fat white cheese)
  • 5-6 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (soaked in water for at least 2 hours)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • small handful of chopped parsley
  • salt, pepper, dry basil (to taste)

Instructions

  • Discard the water in which the walnuts were soaked and put them in a food processor, add all the other ingredients in the food processor and blend for 1-2 minutes until you get a nice creamy texture.
  • Store this healthy mayonnaise spread of cheese and garlic in a glass jar and store it in the refrigerator. It goes well with wholemeal bread and wholemeal salty crackers.

This spread is great for when colds and viruses are on the rise because it contains garlic which is a powerful antibacterial and antiviral agent.
