Chocolate Rum Protein Balls for Weight Loss
There are many recipes for protein balls on the Internet and I often share them because they are the most practical and easiest snack. You can mix literally everything you have in a good ratio to get the required density and make balls.

They are practical to carry to work or wherever you go. You can freeze them and have a healthy snack for 2 weeks.
These chocolate rum protein balls are truly a pleasure for everyone. From a nutritional point of view, 1 ball has about 99 calories, 7.7 g of carbohydrates, 6.9 fats and 2.5 proteins.
I encourage you to try these flavorful balls, store them in the refrigerator and have a snack on the go every day!
Chocolate Rum Protein Balls
Servings 20 balls
Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cup nuts (I used a mix of raw almonds and hazelnuts)
- 1 cup oats
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 2 tbsp honey (or 3 if you want them sweeter)
- 1/2 cup oat milk (or any plant-based milk)
- 4 tbsp coconut flakes
- 1/2 tsp rum extract
- extra coconut flakes and cacao powder for rolling the balls
Instructions
- Put the nuts and oats in a blender or food processor to make them like flour. Then in a deep bowl mix them together with all the other ingredients and form balls. Roll them as you desire. I rolled one half in coconut flakes and the other half in cocoa.
