Boost Your Energy with This Green Sunrise Smoothie Bowl

I am a firm believer that starting your day right in the morning with positive thoughts will create positivity throughout your entire day. However, this is not always possible. Stressful times and daily activities lower our energy and sometimes even we wake up tired even if we have slept the entire night. For this reason, we must include raw foods into our everyday lifestyle.

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know I am a smoothie lover and everything smoothie-connected 🙂

I just love incorporating healthy and organic ingredients with raw fruits and veggies and make smoothie combinations that are both filling and delicious. Especially, detox and fat-burning smoothies are my ultimate favorite ritual in the mornings.

One smoothie combo that I am particularly proud of is the green sunrise smoothie bowl! I guess you figured out by its name that it is a classic morning breakfast smoothie to boost those energy level, wake you up and get you started for the day, so go ahead and give it a try!

Green Sunrise Smoothie Bowl

Cook Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings 1

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen spinach
  • 1 sliced avocado
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or cashew milk
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a blender and process until smooth.
  • You can drink it as a smoothie, or transfer into a bowl and create a smoothie bowl.
  • Top up with some extra flax seeds, kiwi, cucumber, banana, or toppings of your choice.
