Delicious Egg Roll in a Bowl to Spice Up Your Weight Loss
This simple, yet delicious, egg roll in a bowl combines lean protein in a bowl and this makes it a perfect dinner meal.
The taste is similar to an egg roll minus the fried wrap, trust me, you will treat yourself with this dinner recipe. Once you make it, it will become your staple dinner at least once a week.

It won’t take you more than 30 minutes to prepare it which makes it a perfect weeknight meal that will both satisfy you and provide you with your daily dose of protein.
The best part is you can easily customize this recipe and make it however you prefer! If you feel like you want to add more veggies, feel free to experiment! Make it vegetarian by adding 2-3 scrambled eggs instead of chicken. Or if you want to make a vegan version out of it, go ahead and use scrambled tofu instead of the meat.
Delicious Egg Roll in a Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken (sub: turkey if you don't have chicken)
- 2 tsp fresh or dried ginger
- 1/4 cup onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 12 oz coleslaw mix (or broccoli slaw)
- 3 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari sauce)
- 1 tsp sriracha sauce
- 2 green onions (chopped)
- sesame seeds and cilantro (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- In a large skillet ad the chicken (or turkey) and cook it on medium until brown.
- Break it into smaller pieces as it cooks. Cook for 8 minutes or until it's fully cooked.
- Remove from heat.
- In the same skillet, add the oil, onion, garlic, and ginger and cook for about a minute or two until fragrant. Add coleslaw mix into the skillet. Add the soy sauce and sriracha sauce too.
- Cook for another 3-5 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
- Remove from heat. Portion into bowls, top with green onions and serve immediately!
