The Best Sweet Espresso Porridge For a Morning Treat
I was never really keen on making warm oatmeal bowls, until I tried this recipe.
This super creamy and delicious sweet espresso porridge became my favorite morning treat! The combination of espresso and oats in the morning is simply mind-blowing.

Don’t worry, this recipe is sweet but it does not use any refined sugars and is dairy-free too!
The rich taste of coffee and the silky smooth porridge will touch all your senses, wake you up in the morning and treat you to have a wonderful day!
The Best Sweet Espresso Porridge
Servings 2
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup porridge oats
- 2 medjool dates (pitted and cut into small pieces)
- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coffee, or espresso shot
- 1 banana, sliced (1/2 for the porridge, and 1/2 for garnishing)
- 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups oat milk
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a pot and put it on the stove on medium heat. Stir often and cook for about 5-6 minutes until everything is combined and creamy.
- Serve topped with sliced banana, nut pieces or any toppings of your choice.
