Homemade Crisp and Crunchy Seed Crackers

Published

on

These crisp and crunchy seed crackers, or as I like to call them: the-I-can’t-give-up crackers are my favorite snack treat so far!

They are very easy to make, don’t require a lot of effort and anyone can make them! Even if you don’t really have experience in the kitchen, go for this recipe as it will hardly take you more than an hour to prepare these salty crackers.

The best part is this dose makes a batch and it can last for a week, or more!

These crackers are crisp and crunchy, light and salty and go with a variety of dishes. I usually make them when I have guests over for beer (they go really well with beer!), or you can serve them as a side dish with soup, or salads. You can even add them to your favorite fruit or cheese platter as they go perfectly with dry fruits or cheeses.

How to make these crisp and crunchy seed crackers?

All you need to do for this recipe is mix all ingredients together, give it a little knead (or mix with a spatula), then transfer on a lightly floured surface, and roll a 1 cm (in height) dough crust.

Then, using any small mold you have make equal crackers. I used a small cup to make circle-shaped crackers. (the smaller they are the crispier and crunchier they will turn out after baking).

Transfer them onto a baking pan that has not been sprayed with oil before (the crackers have enough oil on their own).

This dose makes for about two full baking pans, of course, it depends on the size of your crackers. Mine turned out to be around 70 pieces.

Bake them in a previously heated oven on 375 F for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
