Beet Detox Juice to Cleanse Your Organism

Today I am sharing with you my favorite, vibrant beet juice that always makes me feel healthy and energized!

This beet juice is loaded with healthy nutrition, perfect for supporting the liver. Even though there is no scientific evidence that beet juice will get rid of your organs’ toxins immediately, it can however support those organs. I know for myself, whenever I drink a detox or cleansing drink I immediately feel better and healthier. Beets have been used as a medicine like natural remedies for centuries.

This recipe combines several super powerful foods that when combined together form a great detox juice.

Beets: powerful antioxidants

Carrots: Beta carotene, potassium, antioxidants

Apples: Pectin, an ingredient that cleanses the body.

Ginger: Anti-inflammatory properties

Lemon: Citrus fruit, helps the liver detoxify.

Detox Beet Juice

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 2 minutes
Servings 2

Ingredients

  • 1 beet
  • 1-2 green apples, cored
  • 1 lemon, peeled
  • 1-inch ginger, peeled
  • 3 medium carrots

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to the juicer. (You might want to add one item at a time).
  • Follow the juicer instructions for juicing, then pour into a glass.
  • Drink immediately.

The bright red color of beets is an indicator that they are high in antioxidants. Beets are also great blood pressure regulators because they contain a high amount of potassium. Human studies have proven that beets are anti-inflammatory and can reduce inflammation and oxidative stress. And most importantly, beets support liver function.
