Boost Your Immunity With This Golden Milk Chia Pudding

I am a firm believer that chia seeds help with immunity boosting and weight loss. I often incorporate chia seeds in recipes and I notice positive results on my body. Of course, chia seeds are not some magic seeds that will instantly give you a health boost or make you lose weight, however, when combined in a healthy balanced diet, they DO give results.

Apart from chia seeds, we’ve all heard about the powerful benefits of golden milk, right? In short,  the main ingredient here is turmeric that has anti-inflammatory effects and it is a very strong antioxidant.

This time, we are spicing it up with some chia seeds to make a powerful antioxidant pudding that will boost your immunity and help with weight loss!

Golden Milk Chia Pudding

Servings 1

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • pinch of cinnamon and cardamom (optional)
  • 1 small knob of fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, simmer milk with turmeric, honey, black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger. (5-7 min) Remove from heat and let it cool down. Strain the ginger from the milk.
  • Transfer the milk into a jar to make the chia pudding.
  • Add the chia seeds and stir nicely. Cover the jar with a lid and place in the refrigerator to set preferably overnight.
  • Taste and add more honey if desired, Decorate with nuts/seeds or fruits of choice.

I strongly recommend you to consume this golden milk chia pudding in the morning for breakfast!
