I am sure you’ve seen lots of golden milk recipes all over your feed. It’s the next big trend coming out after ghee and coconut oil.

Coffee shops are already including this recipe into their coffee menus with turmeric and coconut drink combinations. But why spend so much money when you can make it yourself at home!

All the goodness comes from one ingredient – turmeric.

Turmeric is known for its benefits for digestion, liver health, better immune function, better sleep, etc. It is a super healthy option to add to your morning coffee as it tastes great and it’s very easy to prepare.

Let me present you my favorite golden milk recipe that will warm your soul, and cleanse your organism.

Healing Golden Milk Recipe

Servings 2

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond milk, or coconut milk (I mixed them both)
  • 1 tsp turmeric (ground or freshly grated)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (or any sweetener of choice)
  • pinch of black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ginger (ground or freshly grated)
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice (optional)

Instructions

  • Whisk together all ingredients in a bowl, or use a blender to blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a saucepan and heat for 3-5 minutes on medium heat. Make sure it's not boiling.
  • Pour into a mug and enjoy warm.
