Ingredients

CRUST:

  • 3/4 cup almond meal
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • pinch of sea salt

PEANUT BUTTER FILLING:

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

CHOCOLATE FILLING:

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  • First, line a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper, set aside.
  • In a bowl, add in all the crust ingredients and stir well.
  • Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the loaf pan and add it to the freezer to set.
  • To make the peanut butter filling, stir the peanut butter, ample syrup, coconut oil and salt.
  • Remove the crust from the freezer and add the peanut butter filling on top. Smooth the surface and add in the freezer again.
  • For the chocolate filling, stir together cocoa powder, melted coconut oil, and maple syrup until well combined. Once it looks like a chocolate sauce pour it over the peanut butter filling.
  • Smooth the top and add it in the freezer to set for at least one hour.
  • Once set, grab the edges of the parchment paper and lift the bar from the pan.
  • Cut it into small bar pieces.
  • Do not leave them at room temperature as they will melt. Keep them in the fridge and have a snack whenever you wish.

Will you give these a try? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
