Healthy Chocolate Rice Pudding That Instantly Melts in Your Mouth

Chocolate Rice Pudding – taste and aroma that take you straight back to your childhood. Is there anyone who as a child did not feel the taste of hot rice pudding filled with cinnamon or chocolate on top?

With my healthy recipe for chocolate rice pudding, I would like to take you back in time, but still in a healthier version without sugar and without standard cow’s milk.

This chocolate rice pudding is a great idea for a healthy dessert for the whole family. It instantly melts in your mouth, super creamy and great for breakfast, dinner, or a quick and sweet snack.

Healthy Chocolate Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white rice
  • 3 cups unsweetened almond milk (or water)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Put the almond milk or water on the fire in a non-stick pan, immediately add the rice and stir. In the beginning, even if the water or almond milk boils, it is necessary to stir constantly so that it does not stick. When the water boils, reduce it to low and leave it to boil for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • When the liquid is completely absorbed, add the honey, cocoa and cinnamon and cook for another 3-5 minutes. Serve the hot chocolate pudding in small glass pudding cups. Add some gluten-free whipped cream on top, or some extra chocolate chips if desired.
