Healthy Homemade Snickers Bars for Weight Loss

No one would resist sneakers, but everyone would think about the many calories they would eat with just one bar of chocolate.

But don’t worry, as I have a great recipe for preparing homemade and healthy snicker bars. These healthy snickers bars taste just like the regular snickers chocolate, to me even better!

Once I served them, everyone kept asking for the recipe. I assure you that you can’t go wrong with this quick and easy recipe. So, what are you waiting for? Ready to give these healthy snicker bars a try?

Healthy Homemade Snickers Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup medjool dates
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup chopped peanuts raw, unsalted
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Snickers Cream

  • 1 cup ground hazelnuts
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tbsp cacao powder

Instructions

  • Put the dates, peanut butter and vanilla in a food processor and blend for about 2-3 minutes until well combined. Then add the chopped peanuts and almonds to the mixture and mix well until you get a nice homogeneous mixture. Pour the mixture into a mold that has previously been lined with parchment paper. Press with your fingers to get an even layer. Set aside.
  • Prepare the cream separately by stirring all the ingredients together with a spoon. If the mixture is very thick you can add 1-2 tablespoons of almond milk or water.
  • Finally, pour the cream over the first layer and add a little bit of crushed peanuts on top. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Then chop rectangles with a knife and wrap each one individually in foil. Store them in the refrigerator.

All the desserts I share are healthy, but still high in calories because nuts are one of the highest calorie foods. But, do not worry about the weight, because if you eat in moderation, these foods have only positive effects on overall health.
