Simple Beet & Berry Liver Cleanse Juice

Once juicing became part of my life, everything changed. My health improved, my energy levels are high, I am able to do so much more activities during the day, no nausea whatsoever, and I am feeling younger than ever.

How i started incorporating juicing into my daily life? With occasional juice cleanses that became my weekly routine. After feeling the positive benefits, I started juicing every day. Now, I even do it twice a day sometimes! My family loves juicing as well!

Juicing on a daily basis will improve your body’s ability to detox if you practice it often. Today’s juice recipe is one of my favorites, most refreshing and feel-food juices that I am sharing with you.

Beet & Berry Liver Cleanse Juice

Servings 4

Ingredients

  • 2 medium beets
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 1 apple
  • 2 large carrots
  • 1/2 cup raw broccoli
  • 1 whole lemon
  • 2 inch knob ginger, skin removed
  • 1 1/2 cup coconut water

Instructions

  • Chop all ingredients into small pieces and add them to a juicer.
  • Pulse on high and gradually add blueberries. Add the coconut water to fill 4 cups.
  • Enjoy immediately, or store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Beets contain betaine – a compound famous for cleansing the body. Lemon will activate nerve function, and ginger with its anti-oxidant properties will help the liver eliminate harmful bacteria. Berries are also high anti-oxidants that stimulate detoxification.
