This amazing apple walnut cake is juicy and irresistible!

In addition I am showing you an interesting way to take advantage of excess apples at home. Prepare this quick cake and enjoy the beautiful aroma of baked apples and cinnamon.

Super Moist Apple Walnut Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 2-3 tbsp honey
  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or coconut milk)
  • 2-3 apples (peeled, grated)
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp wholemeal flour
  • 2 tbsp baking powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a cake mold with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Mix the egg well with the honey; you can also use a mixer.
  • Mix all the other ingredients together in a separate bowl and add the egg and honey, stir again until the mixture is well combined.
  • Pour this mixture into your cake mold. Bake for around 30 minutes or until you see the cake separates from the mold.
  • If you love cinnamon aroma, feel free to sprinkle some on top.
