The Ultimate Fat-Burning Mediterranean Salad

Most of us opt for salads in various versions in the summer, whether for lunch or dinner. In addition to being prepared very quickly, they can be really tasty, nutritious, vibrant- especially if you have creative imagination.

If you don’t really have ideas or TIME, don’t worry, we’re here to inspire you. Here is a real summer Mediterranean salad dominated by chickpeas, but also a number of other flavors that are really pleasant to the plate.

I usually eat this salad for dinner as it burns some fat and it helps me stay full throughout the whole night!

Fat-Burning Mediterranean Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 6 cherry tomatoes
  • green or black olives without seeds I used Kalamata olives
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 scallion chopped
  • sun-dried tomatoes (optional)
  • fresh or dried basil for seasoning
  • salt, pepper

Instructions

  • Strain the chickpeas and wash with water.
  • In a bowl, mix the chickpeas, cherry tomatoes, chopped peppers, olives, chopped scallions and sun-dried tomatoes.
    Season everything with lemon juice, basil, salt and pepper. Serve and enjoy.
