Healthy Chocolate Almond Butter (Creamy & Delicious)
If you follow me for a while you know that I like to prove to you that delicious recipes and desserts can be made in a healthy way too! Actually, some of the best desserts I’ve tried are sugar-free, flour-free, vegan, paleo, and plant-based.

Homemade healthy chocolate almond butter…sounds tempting, right? So delicious that it will win you over after the first bite. All you need is your determination and a little time.
This healthy butter is prepared in less than 15 minutes and can be a great substitute for high-calorie spreads and butter.
You can eat it with banana slices, spread it on healthy wholemeal bread, with wholemeal cakes, or you can also use it as a pancake spread.

Healthy Chocolate Almond Butter
Ingredients
- 100 gr raw almonds
- 2-3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp coconut oil (or olive oil)
- pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- In a high-speed blender add the raw almonds. Blend until you get a butter-like creamy mixture (around 8 minutes in total). Stop blending every minute or so and scrape the sides of the blender.
- Transfer this mixture to a bowl.
- Then, add the cocoa powder, honey and coconut oil. Mix with a spoon until everything is combined.
- Store in a jar with a lid and keep it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Apart from being extremely delicious, this chocolate almond butter is full of omega-3 fatty acids that help reduce the risk of heart disease.
If you are counting calories, one teaspoon of this almond butter contains only 36 calories.
