The Best Healthy Energy Bars for Weight Loss
Sweets that contain a lot of refined sugars can really be harmful to health, so whenever you can instead of buying “healthy” snack-bars that are actually full of sugars and syrups, why not try and prepare some yourself? Not to mention, the process is super quick and fun!
What do you think about the idea of preparing delicious and healthy energy bars?

The recipe is simple and fast, these bars are raw, and do not contain artificial colors, sugar, flavors and preservatives, and can be a great and healthy snack at any time.
The Best Healthy Energy Bars
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup raw almonds (or any nuts you prefer)
- 15 medjool dates
- 1/3 cup raisins (or dried cranberries, apricots, plums)
- 2 tbsp ground flax seed
- 2 tbsp milled sesame
- 2 tbsp coconut flour
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- about a teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Soak your almonds in a bowl for at least 4 hours. Put the dates and soaked almonds in a food processor and blend well, then add the other ingredients and mix well until you get a homogeneous mixture. If the mixture is very dry, add a little water, and if it is liquid, add another 1 tablespoon of flaxseed.
- Pour the mixture over some parchment paper and shape your energy bars as desired. I made them into squares, but you can make rectangles, or any shape you like.
- You can sprinkle some coconut flakes on top and wrap each bar in foil. Store in refrigerator for about 2 weeks, or in the freezer up to 2 months.
