Feel Full Longer and Speed up Your Metabolism With this Carrot Juice

Carrot juice is one of my favorite ways to cleanse and detox. I usually do carrot juice cleansing after holidays, since these periods I tend to eat more and heavier foods than usually, so a carrot juice cleanse is always welcome. Plus, this recipe makes you feel full for a longer period and it is perfect for those on a weight loss meal plan.

This carrot juice contains increasing amounts of anti-oxidants so it will protect your heart, and help decrease blood pressure. It also contains pineapples which are one of the healthiest fruits on the planet. They are full of manganese, anti-inflammatory properties, and contain bromelain – a strong digestive enzyme.

Another ingredient that makes this juice unique is cayenne pepper. Even in small amounts, consuming cayenne pepper can speed up your metabolism and give you a feeling of fullness for a longer period.

Speed up Metabolism with Carrot Juice

Servings 1

Ingredients

  • 4 whole carrots
  • 1 nectarine
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 head romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (or more, if you like it flavorful)

Instructions

  • Blend or juice the carrots, nectarine, pineapple, and lettuce. Transfer to a glass and top with cayenne pepper.
