THE BEST Healthy Homemade Toblerone Chocolate

Toblerone chocolate is one of the favorite chocolates for almost all generations. Would you resist such a sweet treat in a healthy way? I know I couldn’t. Toblerone is my weak spot, so I decided to create a healthier version of this amazing chocolate to satisfy my cravings.

Let me tell you, this recipe is perfect! It tastes so rich and full of chocolate and nuts, crunchy and creamy at the same time, you’ll simply love it!

Healthy Homemade Swiss Toblerone Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate (200gr) 75% cocoa or more
  • 1 1/4 cups ground hazelnuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 tbsp coconut oil or unsalted butter
  • 2 cups whole grain biscuits crushed
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Melt half of the sugar (1/2 cup) to caramelize and add half the hazelnuts (1/2 cup). Combine the sugar with the hazelnuts well and set aside to cool.
    In another bowl with a mixer, whisk the eggs and the rest of the sugar until you get a nice foamy structure.
    Melt the butter or coconut oil in a pot and combine it with the egg mixture. Add the melted chocolate and the rest of the hazelnuts to the mixture.
    Finely chop the caramel and hazelnuts and add them to the mixture. Finally add the crushed whole grain biscuits and mix well together.
    Pour the contents into a triangular mold and put it in the fridge for about 2-3 hours to harden.
